Stopped today and learned it's started. Shaping up to be a year with more choices than last year (difficult to fathom, I know). I've had more than my share of !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , and this, and the Alysian Great Pumpkin Ale (now discontinued as far as I know), are the only ones that taste like Pumpkin and not just nutmeg and cloves.
Creamy and spicy with enough body to match the alcohol content of 5.9%. 87/100

Agreed. Last year there was Whiskey. 2 months ago reduced bottles were still on the shelf. Oh brother...

It's pumpkin spice flavors, not actual Pumpkin.

Many of the pumpkin beers actually use pumpkin meat in the brew process, not just spicing at fermentation.

nope, honestly besides pumpkin pie and pumpkin seeds I haven't liked anything related to pumpkins. I know of Dogfish, just never tried it.

You don't get much flavor out of just the pumpkin meat, go eat some, it's bland as hell.

It's not a pumpkin beer like a lot of others are, it's a brown ale brewed with brown sugar and pumpkin, a buddy and I figured out it tastes just like pumpkin pie. If you come across it definitely give it a shot.

Marketers need to learn the difference between pumpkin, pumpkin spice, and pumpkin pie.
